What is Women Growing Empires (WGE)?

WGE is a community of over 1500+ supportive women who are looking to grow their businesses. The FREE Facebook group is made up of business owners and leaders from various fields located in Canada and abroad.

 

Why should I become a paid Queens member?

  Becoming a Queens member presents huge benefits and rewards including:

  • The ability to market and post your business and events to the 1500+ members in the regular group (regular members cannot post in the Facebook group they can only answer posts)

  • The opportunity to host dedicated events in both the regular and paid groups

  • Comprehensive listing in the Membership Directory on the WGE web site

What is the difference between being a regular and paid member?

WGE regular members can only watch from the sidelines. They can only answer posts on the Facebook page and only have access to some events. If you are a paid Queens member, you have the benefits of everything listed in the above question. The Queens members take action!

 

Who can join WGE and WGE Queens Group?

 Any woman or anyone identifying as a woman who is an entrepreneur or business leader can join the WGE free Facebook group. We do not tolerate any mean or “bullying type” behaviour. In order to join the Queens group, you must be a woman or anyone identifying as a woman, who is an entrepreneur or business leader, passionate about growing their business and you must agree to pay the membership fee. As a Queens member, you may be vetted before acceptance to make sure that your core values are in line with our group.

When can I join the WGE Queens Group? When are renewals?

 You can join WGE at any point during the year but we run a full calendar year from January-December. You will need to renew your Queens Membership every year by December 31st.

 

What if I am a start-up or have a side hustle? What if I am a more established business -  is the Queens group right for me?

 Our Queens members are all at different points in their business careers. Most of our members have been in business for at least 3-4 years. Some of our members have been in business for 20+ years. We encourage you to join so that you are in the company of businesswomen who are focused on growing their businesses and revenue. Our dedication and drive will certainly rub off on you.

 

Does the Queens group cater to certain types of businesses?

 Our Queens members have all different types of businesses, from bricks and mortar, to online, to coaching, product, service-based and professional services. We like diversity!

 

Is WGE just a Facebook Group?

 WGE is not just a Facebook Group – we also have an Instagram and LinkedIn Page where you can find out more information about our events as well as other information. We are a community focused on supporting and growing women-led businesses. We also encourage you to join our mailing list!
